A Pakistani model presents a creation of designer Hassan Sheheryar Yasin during a fashion show in Islamabad, 13 August 2005, on the eve of country’s Independence Day. The show titled ”Essentially Pakistan-Virasat Kay Sab Rang,” which showcased traditional dresses designed by Yasin, was organized to celebrate Pakistan’s 58th Independence Day. Britain ceded independence to the subcontinent in 1947, resulting in the birth of Pakistan and India.
